Grace, Strength and Tradition

All my life, all I wanted to do was to be a ballerina. Because of a women by the name of Nathalie Krassovska, I was given that opportunity and much more. She was the last of a generation of great ballerinas, and taught us the ballets from the Ballet Russes. Pas de Quatre, The Dying Swan, Chopiniana, Paquita, so many wonderful ballets that you rarely see anymore. Ballets with dramatic and passionate stories and they are my favorite. She was known for the ballet "Giselle"(my favorite), and was passionate about the russian style, even at the age of 69 she could hold her ownin a ballet class. Nothing was ever marked and the discipline I learned from her has shaped my life, and everything I do, I do with the passion I saw in her every day of my life. Nathalie Krassovska passed away last Sunday, and it was a shock. So much of my childhood was spent in her studio, I just always thought she would be around. She was beautiful and quirky and passionate, and every day she inspires me to be the same. I am grateful for the knowledge she gave me and I am grateful that I devoted so much time to studying, unknowingly, with one of the greatest ballerinas that ever existed. I feel such a loss and so much regret, that it had been at least a year since I had visited her. She had such an impact on my life and always will. I love you madame, thank you.

To date a nice guy is hard. It means that you can fall deeply in love with him and trust him completely and he is never going to let you down. But, if you're like me that "nice guy" has been a rareity in your life so when he comes along you keep looking for the other shoe to drop. In fact it can consume you. My boyfriend is the most wonderful man I have ever met and I am sooooo lucky to have been able to love him and kiss him and wake up next to him every morning. He supports me in everything that I do and he is gorgeous. I'm serious, this guy has beautiful hazel eyes and dark brown hair. I love the way he touches me, just to feel his hand on my back just melts me. The thing is you deserve to date a nice guy, you deserve to be treated like a human being and you should embrace it if it comes along.

Silence is Golden

I have lost my voice, thus inspiring me to start a blog. I will post later.
